After having “upgraded” themselves jazz-musically in Gothenburg, Sweden, and having landed in the New York borough of Brooklyn some time later, the pair of brothers Julian (flugelhorn, trumpet) and Roman Wasserfuhr (piano) arrived in Ireland with cellist Jörg Brinkmann to relax in the seclusion of West Cork.
The result is a modern jazz that combines the melodic style of the Wasserfuhr brothers with the cheerfulness of Irish folklore and is given a peculiarly coloured sound by the cello.
